SEMSA is an engineering and consultancy company created in 1988, which dedicates its main activities to advice, planning, programming, development, integral management of transportation projects and mountain sports.

TALLER DE INGENIERÍA URSÚA S.L. (URSÚA S.L. ENGINEERING WORKSHOP) is a subsidiary created in 2006 to facilitate the administrative and legal procedures for our European Union clients, always guaranteeing the same type of high quality services as SEMSA.

With a team of mountain experts and of mountain leisure activities, capable of offering services such as integral/global planning and design of ski resorts and the development of projects of transportation by cable, ski runs and artificial snowmaking.
With a technical and organizational aptitude to lead, manage and coordinate the most suitable multidisciplinary teams to elaborate environmental and planning documents, adapting them to the legislations and specifications of each region.
- Experience
In definition, the elaboration and development of programs and global resort projects, cable transportation projects, designing ski runs, artificial snowmaking, facilities, as well as operating ski resorts: the knowledge of our client’s needs, the day to day management and the specific conditions of different mountain regions.

An engineering and consultancy company with total economic independence which guarantees the objectivity and precision necessary for the development of its functions and rendering professional services.
Total absence of conflicting interests: SEMSA does not have any other commitment than to protect the interest of its clients with the same demanding level than these would ask a member of its own team.

Located in Escaldes-Engordany (Principality of Andorra), with the possibility of immediate intervention in the Pyrenees, with an autonomy to move and react (skiing personnel and 4x4 vehicles).
SEMSA's versatile philosophy and structure allows a quick response, directly or though collaborators, in other remote zones: we have developed our work in ski resorts throughout Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, Argentina,...

SEMSA is permanently open to new technologies and incorporates in its organization the most modern management techniques, project development, design calculation software, and CAD’s personalized packages (gondolas, topography, geographical information systems, structure calculations…), budgeting…

Because mountains are its main area of activity, SEMSA puts special care in environmental sustainability and in the integration of its projects with its surroundings, both in the phase of conception as in the phases of execution of exploitation.

Quality and environmental respect
Since 2008, SEMSA has successfully passed the process of certification according to the ISO regulations 9001:2000 and 14001:2004.
SEMSA’s managing considers and declares as the following strategic objectives of its financial management:

To be able to reach these objectives, it’s SEMSA's policy of direction, to lead and to stimulate the execution of the following actions:
- To establish and maintain a Quality and Environmental efficiency system to develop in coordination with the rest of the Managing functions.
- Keep in mind the environmental significant aspects that allow and contribute to a sustainable development beyond the strict and legal fulfillment.
- Attribute the efforts and the necessary resources for the constant improvement of the qualitative behavior and environmental level.
- The above mentioned System, the conformity adequacy of the contractual work, to the environmental and normative requirements, will always be supported in results and objective evidences.
- To assure itself, the technical and administrative personnel, should be totally acquainted with the Objectives and Policies of the Company by means of a preparation and training program of the personnel to all the levels.
The system quality of SEMSA is based on the norms ISO-9001:2000, ISO-14001:2004 and in the regulation CE 196/2006 EMAS.
